Modern War Heroes

Understandably, the technology to produce color photography was still quite rare during the time of World War I. This website has a fairly large collection of color photographs. Very interesting, and certainly not something you see every day. I think it is important to see these reminders of our past. Check it out.

I found this slideshow on YouTube.com. Mick V. Rubalcava of Modesto, CA wrote and performed the song in dedication to all of our fallen soldiers. He really makes these people real and personal. It’s a beautiful song, and even though the video is a little long, I really hope you will take the time to watch it.
